HIS NAME IS HOLY

Think about it: Absolutely no one ever uses the name of Buddha, Krishna, Vishnu or Muhammad as a curse word while angry, ranting, and using vile language. They wouldn’t even consider doing so. No, people only use the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Why is that? First of all, more than likely, they don’t know Him, and also because there is power in His Name unlike those others I mentioned. Why? Because Jesus is alive, seated at the right hand of God the Father, and those others are but dust. ‘His is the Name above all names,’ and ‘there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.’ The fact is that the Name of Jesus is where the power resides and we will ALL stand before Christ and answer to Him as Judge on that Great Day.
“At the Name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father” (Philippians 2:10-11).
His Name is holy.
