Missing Loved Ones Who Have Gone to Heaven?

As the years go by I find myself looking forward to reuniting with my parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and brothers and sisters in Christ who have preceded me to Heaven. As much as I’ve missed these loved ones at times and want to see them, I would never desire that they’d be back here on earth. Why? Because, Praise God, they are in a glorious state with NO sadness, tears, mourning, disease, pain or death. They are enjoying direct, intimate, and serene fellowship with the Lord Jesus Christ in glory. There’s no way I’d even think of wanting them back here, because I know they would again experience the sin, sadness and painful turmoil that’s part and parcel of life on this fallen planet. No, please understand that LOVE compels me to seek their highest good, which is found only in Heaven…
and I will join them soon enough!
