Despise Not Small Beginnings

Back in the beginning of April I was asked to step in as interim pastor at Hope Community Church in Putnam, CT. At that time the church was running around 20 people. Since then God has blessed the congregation with increase in multiple ways. Our Lord began with a dozen and look at what happened. Greater things are yet to come! For the purpose of accuracy I must amend a previous post. This small church has been part of Operation Christmas Child/Samaritans Purse. In fact, Ms. Janelle, a member of Hope, who leads this ministry is also the rep for the entire region. My last post stated that our small congregation provided 419 boxes of gifts for children across the world. I stand corrected. As of today as several members are transporting the boxes to the central pick up point, this small congregation is providing not 419, but 550! Yes, I’m boasting in the Lord and what He is doing through a band of believers who pray and dream big, and are on fire for Him.
